Day at Highfield with Poppy

Snack time poolside.

Poppy says I'm the best caddy he's had.

See? He would forget his own golf ball if it wasn't for me. "Poppy!"

He doesn't like my advice. His grip is all wrong.

It was a bit cool out but Daddy braved the water with me. Check out my kicks.

Row, Row, Row the Canoe!

Around Wintergreen Lake !

Merrily, Merrily, Merrily, Merrily,

Life is really great!

(Yes, we actually did sing that song around the lake)

Playdate with Luke and Neven

Fun in the backyard. I finally got the courage to go down their big slide!

My first ice cream cone with the boys. Obviously not their first- they're pros!

Oh yeah, I can get used to this. Mom and Dad have been holding back!

I did eat a civilized meal first, though.

Lying around with James!

Around the house...

I have so many babies: Baby Alice, Chubby Baby, Baby Sam, but this is my number one girl- Big Baby. I have to practice being a big sister you know!

Cooking is my new favorite activity. Mom says I make a great sous-chef. Here I am making marinara sauce with Dad- with tomoatos right from our garden! I picked those too. I don't know what Mom and Dad would do without all my help.

I graciously agreed to give my crib to my new baby sister. I am working on sleeping in my big girl bed! I think it's going great. I don't know if Mom and Dad would agree- they seem awfully tired these days.....

Jammin' out to the bluegrass band- yeah!

Me and Oakley checking out the cows.

Wahoo!!!! All-you-can-eat ice cream!!!! I don't know who's more excited, me or mom!

That's my buddy Oakley!

Dads rock!

Just chillin' after all the ice cream and dancing and obstacle course and cows and babies and....

Starfish in August

Where I lived for two weeks- the beach!!! My swim lessons sure have paid off- mom and dad couldn't get me out of the water! And I learned to build sandcastles and dig big holes. I rode in my bike trailer everyday to the beach or farmer's market or playground!
Awwwww....

Porch time! Here is where I watched the neighborhood dogs go for walks and bunnies eat grass, watched boats and planes, ran around with my beach ball, blew bubbles, and flew a kite!

Don't worry everyone, I'm a trained lifeguard.

Help! Mommy's got me!

Go! Go! Go!

Cousin visit with Paige and Bennett! We went to the beach with Auntie Kate and Uncle Kris, played, had nap time and went out for dinner.

I think this look works for me. Nana won't mind if I borrow these.

Love from Mommy at the Narrow River where I swam in big waves with Biggie the dog and friends. We took a boat to the beach and spent the day. I'm wrapped in a towel because I lost my clothes somewhere along the way....I didn't have anything to do with that.

Picnic with friends! Fresh garden veggies and fun in the yard. Even Uncle Bryan and Sarina got to come along to the Kaiser's for a dinner picnic. I saw their chickens and pigs, played on their swings, swam in their pool and of course played with Biggie.

Don't worry dad, I can touch here.

Playing at home with Sarina! We went to the beach in the bike trailer together and played at the playground while Uncle Bryan worked- work stinks!
