Florida Vacation- April Break!

Sarasota, FL with Nana and Poppy at the "blue house."  Highlights include walking to the beach, the Orange Octopus where Avery had a "cake sandwich" for breakfast, the drawbridge, looking for shells, Siesta Key Beach (unbelievable sand) and Village, date night downtown, BigCatHabitat, snakes and lizards in the backyard ("lizard hunting"), Avery's shows in the lanai, and the mockingbird.

 There was a lot of resting in Florida.  Busy beach days = good naps!

Been a while

If you haven't noticed, I'm struggling to keep up with this blog. To catch you up to speed, I went back to work this past fall and since then this is what we do: wake up, get ready, go to work/school, come home, eat dinner, bedtime wars, get ready for tomorrow. Repeat. While it must sound boring, boring is the farthest thing from the word I would use to describe this phenomena. It is magical and beautiful and the best times of our life:

Most recent snow fall- we finally got to build a snowman!!!
